Read Your
Family's History
Before It Fades Away
Those faded letters from your grandmother. Immigration papers from 100 years ago. Handwritten recipes passed down through generations. Don't let them be lost—digitize them now.
"Every old document tells a story. Your grandmother's handwritten letters. Your great-grandfather's immigration papers. Marriage certificates from a century ago."
These aren't just papers—they're connections to people who came before you. Voices from the past that deserve to be heard by future generations. But paper fades. Ink disappears. One water leak and it's all gone.
Digitize them now, while they're still readable.

Common Questions
Can it read really old handwriting? Like from the 1800s?
Yes! We've successfully transcribed documents from the 1800s, including elaborate Victorian cursive and old script styles. Our AI is trained on historical handwriting styles as well as modern ones. If you can make out some of the words yourself, we can probably read it all.
What about documents in other languages?
We support 100+ languages, including German, Italian, Polish, Swedish, and many others common in genealogy research. We can even handle documents that mix languages, which is common in immigrant family papers.
My documents are really faded. Will it still work?
Faded documents are our specialty. We've read letters where the ink had nearly disappeared, typewritten pages that were barely visible, and carbon copies that looked blank. If you can see any text at all when you hold it up to light, try it—you might be surprised what we can recover.
Can I preserve the original look while getting text?
Absolutely. We recommend keeping both your original scan (for the visual record) and the extracted text (for searching and sharing). The text extraction doesn't alter your original images in any way.
How do I share the transcriptions with family?
The extracted text is clean Markdown that you can copy anywhere—email it to relatives, add it to your family tree software, paste it into a document, or post it on genealogy websites. It's just text, so it works everywhere.
